What is the true definition of "Messianic Israel"?

Messianic Israel - a biblical definition...

When hearing the term, Messianic Israel - what comes to mind? Do you immediately think it's a Jewish belief? A Jewish religion? Do you understand the term to believe something that extreme Christians thought up and developed a church to house beliefs that are somehow 'Jewish'? Well, I've got news for you.

Messianic Israel.....has been alive and well since Adam. What you say? What do you mean that Messianic Israel has been alive and well since the time of Adam and Eve! Well, it's because of the true and biblical meaning of the word Messianic and the word Israel.

In our time and era, these words have come to mean something totally different than what the originally meant. Let's take apart these two words and understand them from a Hebraic perspective from which they were written.

MESSIANIC - the Literal Definition

Definition: Of or relating to the Messiah; as, the Messianic office or character.

ISRAEL - the Literal Definition

Israel (Hebrew ישׂראל Yisra'el or Yiśrā’ēl, meaning "Upright (with) God") was the name given to the Biblical patriarch Jacob.

(ĭz'rēəl, ĭz'rāəl) [as understood by Hebrews,=he strives with God], according to the book of Genesis

So as you can see - if you put the two literal definitions together, you have those who are upright or who struggle/strive with Yahweh and are related, or of the Messiah are the ones that consist of MESSIANIC ISRAEL.
